Preparation

Preparation of the actual surface to be painted is very important in order to achieve the right look, and to make the paint job last an extensive amount of time. Any surface can be painted, using the right materials and the proper preparation. Filling holes, sanding, scraping, and patching are important not only for the smoothness of the surface, but by preparing the surface properly, more paint can be absorbed which adds durability. If the surface is ready to absorb enough paint, the job will not only look better, but last for more years to come.
